What We Ate In Chelsea Kitchen

Every time we go to SM Megamall Fashion Hall, we always see Chelsea Kitchen and we always take note that we’ll check it out the next time we’re in the mall but we never get around to it. So instead of just making a mental note, we made sure to set a date to dine there.

With hungry tummies, we trooped to Chelsea Kitchen one fine weekday to have lunch. Since it was our first time (yes, you read right) to visit, we decided to get their bestsellers.

First on the list, their Chili Lime Chicken and Chorizo Nachos.

Nachos is a pretty simple dish to prepare. But not all restaurants use good ingredients to decorate the dish. One look at the nachos, we know it’s a sure winner.

Second was their Mozzarella Stuffed Mushrooms Risotto Balls.

You can’t go wrong with mozzarella and mushrooms. The risotto balls were firm yet moist. It may look small but they’re totally filling.

Third item we got was their Mushroom Chicharon.

This is one of our favorites! Chelsea Kitchen is the sister company of Stella in Bonifacio High Street Central which also serves a delicious Truffle Mushroom Fries. Stella’s mushroom fries are the bomb so when we learned that Chelsea Kitchen has one on their menu, we didn’t hesitate to get the dish. Had we not ordered more dishes, we could’ve ordered more of these babies.

Fourth was their Open Faced B.L.T. Deluxe.

Bacon is always a big win in our books. And with the egg on top, it made the sandwich heartier!

Fifth item on the list, their U.S. Roast Beef and Gravy.

If you want something meaty and tasty, this is the perfect dish. The mushroom gravy definitely made the tender beef more delectable to eat. You can eat it together with garlic rice or with bread, letting both carbs drown in that beautiful gravy.

Sixth dish we got was their 4-Hour Cola Ribs.

Gorgeous, gorgeous ribs. We couldn’t get enough of the sweetness and spiciness of the barbecue sauce paired with the almost fall-off-the-bone ribs.

Seventh item was their Fried Chicken Parmigiana.

Beef— check. Pork— check. Chicken— up next. One of the things that we like about this Chicken Parmigiana is the herb breadcrumbs that contributed to the overall flavorful taste of the dish. With the addition of white sauce and mozzarella, this chicken dish is the one to order.

Eight and last item that we got was their Kitchen Fish n’ Chips.

The first time we tried fish n’ chips was in Chelsea Grand Cafe and we loved it! That’s why we ordered it the minute we saw the item on the menu. And we’re happy to report that the dish didn’t disappoint.

Overall, we had a very good meal in Chelsea Kitchen. We were thinking of getting desserts and coffee but we were so full that we decided to just go back and order more the next time.

Our top 3 picks from this meal— Mushroom Chicharon, U.S. Roast Beef and Gravy, and Kitchen Fish n’ Chips.
