We don’t know about you but one of our favorite things to do is grocery shopping. We love checking out the supermarket shelves to see what’s new in the food and beverage department.

So when someone gave us a heads up about Landers Superstore, we trooped to their sprawling 8,000 sqm. store right away.

The store was clean, well-ventilated, well-lit, and very spacious which made the whole shopping experience pleasant and comfortable. While sweeping through every row, we noticed that they have goods from the United States, Canada, and Australia. Some we haven’t seen being sold in other stores. Let us show you some of our interesting finds inside Landers Superstore which we think are good reasons enough to pay the store a visit.

1.  Mercer’s Dairy Wine Ice Cream

Yes, you read right. This famous ice cream from New York has wine— 5% alcohol to be exact. It comes in 10 flavors and our favorites are Riesling, Red Raspberry Chardonnay, and Chocolate Cabernet.

2.  Double Rainbow Ice Cream

Awarded as the “Best Ice Cream in America”, this soy-based product from San Francisco is the perfect ice cream for those who are lactose intolerant, vegan, and people who choose not to consume dairy.

3.  Badia Spices

This Florida-based brand has been in the business for 30 years. It’s another option that consumers can use in the spice department.

4.  President’s Choice

Landers Superstore is the official distributor of Canada’s well-known brand, President’s Choice. They have so many selections that got us really excited. Some of the things we got were their blue cheese dressing, balsamic glaze, chipotle sauce, and Colombian coffee.

5.  Brownie Brittles and Bark Thins

We love brownie brittles! Superstores like Landers often offer their products in bulk purchases but there are times when shoppers just want to sample the items before getting them in large amounts. Good thing Landers offer merchandise in smaller packs and even in individual products to cater to these types of shoppers as well as to smaller-sized families.

6.  Heinz Cocktail Sauce

To all of us shrimp cocktail lovers out there.

7.  Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar

We know you’d tell us that there’s nothing special about Bragg because you can purchase this anywhere. That is true. But what we want to tell you is the fact that you can HOARD these babies because Landers doesn’t have any restrictions as to how many items one shopper can buy.

8.  Landers Central Pizza Selections

Enjoy a slice or two or three of their pizzas in their diner called Landers Central. We love it basic so we opted to go for their Pepperoni Pizza. Pretend not to act surprise when you see that their pizza slice is bigger than your face!

9. Lander’s Central Hotdog

No need to go to New York City to taste their famous hotdog because Landers Central can totally satisfy your hotdog cravings. We made sure to dress it up with mustard, ketchup, onions, and pickles to fully enjoy the experience.

10. Lander’s Central Fried Chicken

We love fried chicken! Serve us with perfectly golden fried chicken with crispy skin and moist meat, we’ll be happy campers.

11. Doppio’s Muffins

When we finished eating our pizzas, hotdogs, and chicken in Landers Central, we jumped over to their coffee shop named Doppio. We love muffins so it was no surprise when we ordered their Double Chocolate Muffin, Coffee Muffin, Blueberry Muffin, and Chocolate Chip Muffin. Our top pick was their Double Chocolate Muffin. The big chunks of chocolate won us over.

12. Doppio’s Chocolate Lava Cake

Let’s pause for a minute to enjoy this photo. Nothing can be sexier than a dripping and oozing chocolate sauce.

13. Doppio’s Oatmeal Cranberry Cookie

It’s not often that we see a cookie flavor like this so when we spotted this in Doppio, we knew we had to have it. Glad to report that we made a good decision.

14. Doppio’s Gelato

As soon as we saw the word gelato on the menu, we considered trying it. But when we went to check out their selections and saw a tub of matcha gelato smiling at us, we knew that we had to do. Since we are a big matcha fan, we’re happy to let you all know that we were very happy with it. Aside from matcha, we also got ourselves their delicious strawberry gelato with fresh strawberry bits.

Landers Superstore offers Premium/Personal Membership for PHP800 with 1 extension card for PHP400 and Business Membership for PHP1,000 with 4 extension cards for PHP400 each. All memberships are good for 12 months.
